“You Seem ‘Curious’ about the New Single by Ainjo

Ainjo explores the excitement and tension of new relationships in her groovalicious new neo-soul / contemporary R&B single, “Curious.”

You should be curious. The combined rhythm section of drum and bass drive this track forward amidst interspersed intervals of ambience and vocal flourishes that seem to draw distinction between the initial timidity of a new relationship while gaining the confidence to ‘make a move.’

The Southern California-based singer-songwriter made her debut in 2017 with the release of “Cash Flaws” and was quickly followed by tracks like  “George,” “Clarity,” and “Handle It.” With the launch of her EP, 555 with the hit single “Drug,” featuring Amanda Adams, Ainjo’s critical acclaim and enthusiastic fanbase had afforded her the opportunity to grace a number of coveted performances with Vydia’s Official 2019 Stage at SXSW Festival, The Study Hollywood: Unplug’d LA, East Coast: Music Conference/Festival 2018, Vibe Tribe Showcase, and Lady’s First Official 2019 Stage at A3C Festival.

Balancing a career in entertainment and as an active military service member in the U.S. Armed Forces, Ainjo is preparing for the release of her new project “Diary Entries,” and hopes to tour throughout the year.

“Curious” begs the question, “Do you feel the same about me as I feel about you?” The tone is playful and sexy, inviting the opportunity to discover whether there is more than just a friendship at work. This could be a track that you share with someone with whom you have a crush on to see how they respond.
