Hailing from Seattle is new 19-year old talent Wuwon, and his newest release, “Tell Me You Hate Me,” is not one to miss.
Originally from San Diego, Wuwon lives in rainy Seattle, forcing him to stay inside and write music often inspired by the rain. “It rains a lot here so most of my time I spend inside which is why I think music just stuck to me,” he said. His songs are written and recorded from “the most makeshift set up there is” in his bedroom.
“Tell Me You Hate Me” is about relationships that are not working out, and the struggle and desire that comes along with it. “I wrote this going through a time where I wanted someone so bad, but it just never worked, but we both always chose to stay. When I heard the beat, I immediately started singing the chorus, and before I knew it, the song was completely finished within 30 minutes of writing and recording,” said Wuwon.
