Ting Lin Goes Long Distance in “Te Quiero”

The Alchemist

The newly launched music video for Ting Lin’s “Te Quiero” provides a unique visual representation for the song’s concepts around the push and pull of long distance relationships through its use of various sets. The song highlights the various emotions of longing and togetherness through lyrics sung in Spanish and English. Lin says, “It shows that a relationship takes dedication and effort from both parties to work. And that no relationship, as perfect as it may seem to others, is actually perfect and that’s ok.” The combined audio and visual experience really tugs on the heart strings. Check it out below:

Get To Know Washington D.C. Band Moozy

Moozy is a fully independent band from Washington D.C. born from a collaboration of musicians Dylan Rockwell and Pat Gunning. I remember thinking as a kid “ok, if I practice really hard for like a year then I’ll probably be like the best guitarist at school and then I’ll be cool.” Pat had a similar high school experience thinking that playing in a band would increase his “cool” factor. I think he still does. I’ve always been slightly competitive with music, for better or for worse. Usually for better I think. It’s all for the sake of the art at the end of the day.
