They Kiss’s latest release from their upcoming album, “Lookin’ 4 Love”, emphasizes the hope in the search for love.

“A political refugee and classically trained multi-instrumentalist and a film school grad plus globetrotting DJ”, They Kiss is composed of Anna Makovchik and Francesco Civetta (a.k.a. Cash). The duo’s creative connection is “fuelled by their love of rock’n’roll, British trip-pop, Grunge, and 80’s synth- pop.”

“Lookin’ 4 Love” is the closing bonus track off of their upcoming album, “Feeling With You”. A modern reimagining of Julian Lennon’s track, it was born out of Cash’s visit to Julian in the south of France.

“Cash told him he really felt connected to his track “Lookin’ 4 Luv” from his 2011 release Everything Changes and wanted to rework it for a new generation. Back in New York, Cash teamed up with producer David Sisko and Sandflower and began working on creating a new song using Julian’s chorus hook and sampling his piano riff. They recorded new verses and built a new song around those samples, and thus They Kiss’ “Lookin’ 4 Love” was born.”

Fans of Rogue VHS or Tonebox should check out this album and video.
