The McCartney Experience prepare to rock Rams Head On Stage on August 12, an encore to their sold out show performing the music of Beatles bassist Sir Paul McCartney in January of this year.
The Baltimore/DC area tribute band is led my Jed Duvall, who mimics McCartney in appearance, mannerism, and musical talent. Duvall’s commitment to authenticity led this right-handed musician to teach himself how to perform left-handed bassist.
This commitment extends to highlighting every stage of McCartney’s career, which includes his time with the Beatles with tracks such as, “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “I Saw Her Standing There,” “And I Love Her;” Wings songs such as “Silly Love Songs,” “Listen To What The Man Said;” and solo hits like “Dance Tonight.”
“I’ve always enjoyed Paul the Performer, but I’m always amazed at the amount of variety coming from Paul the Songwriter,” says Duvall. “His music seemed to just grow as I did. So, playing his music feels like I’m telling the audience a bit about me. McCartney’s songs take me back to specific times in my life, from childhood to now. There aren’t many artists that take you through your entire life.”
Tickets and information about the Aug 12 performance are available at RamsHead.com. Learn more about The McCartney Experience by visiting their website: mccartneyexperience.com.
