The Burgler Releases the Perfect Summer Single With “False Alarm”

By Margaret Adams

The Burgler, otherwise known as Ori Kastiel, has released his new catchy single, “False Alarm.” This is Kastiel’s first single of 2022, kicking off the release of his new EP.

Ori Kastiel is a producer, songwriter, vocalist and bass player from Eilat, Israel. His musical project, The Burgler, was created with the hope to promote “a unique prism of vibes”. The Burgler produces music that can be defined as Galactic Soul Music, covered in hazy nostalgia, groove and self observation. The Burgler’s wide spectrum of inspiration stretches from Red Hot Chili Peppers to MGMT and many others.

“False Alarms” is a cool, summer single that perfectly displays Kastiel’s influences within the indie genre. With a tone reminiscent of the Villagers and very interesting production similar to Tame Impala, the track is a spacy, but contained journey through the sky on a summer night–. an easy listen for any indie fan.

Keep an eye out for The Burgler’s full self-titled debut EP, set for release May 31st.

Fans of MGMT, Gorillaz, and Tame Impala should check out The Burgler’s new single “False Alarm,” available on your favorite streaming platform. Listen to this song and other great music on the Alchemical Records Multigenre Mixture on Spotify.
