Temptation and Chemistry in Sophomore Single “Cyrff” by Ffatri Jam

Welsh band Ffatri Jam are following the success of their first single “Creithiau” with a new track released this Friday, November 4th. Energetic and captivating, “Cyrff” is the perfect hard rock jam to kick off the month with.

Hailing from Anglesey & Caernarfon, North Wales, this four member group blends their individual influences — including Foo Fighters, Royal Blood, and Queens Of The Stone Age —
and musical backgrounds to create a heavy, catchy signature sound.

The band performs in their mother language of Welsh and seeks a global audience. They’ve received worldwide acclaim in response, with features in publications based in their home country, as well as North and South America, Spain, India, and Portugal.

Recorded in North Wales’ Snowdonia mountain range with producer Richard James Roberts, “Cyrff” is all about temptation. The track emphasizes the push-and-pull dynamics that lust can bring to two lovers who just aren’t meant for each other. From the intro’s ascending layers and the lead singer’s powerful vocal range and gravelly tone, to the bridge’s guitar solo, the band portrays the rockiness of that inner battle.

As we approach the end of the year, Ffatri Jam is hard at work creating their first E.P. and preparing for a busy 2023, when they hope to tour throughout their home country and beyond.
