Tales in Space Drop, “Better With You”

by The Alchemist

Sydney artist, Tales in Space, are an explosive collage of elctro-dynamo-pomo-alt rock. Their eclectic and quirky style is created using a montage of samples, loops and synths, while still maintaining a solid foundation of traditional drums, vocals and guitars.

They are here to share an uplifting indie-pop tune, Better With You, born during these challenging times. Better With You, is a positive reflection of how important your family members are and how life is so much better with your loved ones around. The track lifts your spirits with a steady construction of warm tones of drums and guitar, before bursting into a powerful heartfelt chorus. Tales in Space find a lush blend of organic RnB quirks, mixed with a hint of signature synth pop vibes. This song could be great to send to someone that you are unable to see right now because of the corona virus situation and brighten up their day. Check it out below, and you can also check it out on our New Age Energy playlist!

Lesbians, Theatre, and TikTok with Aria Velz

Aria Velz is a director, TikToker, and Lesbian Media Enthusiast based in the D.C. area. On November 2nd, she sat down with me to talk about it all, from her latest production at Olney Theatre Center to the things that lead to her little corner on TikTok.

On October 29th, Olney Theatre Center wrapped its run of Prince Gomolvilas’ ‘The Brothers Paranormal.’ The disconcerting, borderline terrifying production was co-directed by Olney’s Senior Associate Artistic Director, Hallie Gordon, and Velz herself. The show was one of the spookiest times I have had in a theatre in quite some time. It was evident that the show was a well researched labor of love.
