By Jaci Jedrych

Accumulating over 20,000 fans and millions of streams before an album release, Steven Curtis’ latest release, “Cold” has been highly anticipated.

Steven Curtis is a singer-songwriter, performer, producer, guitarist, and looper. Including his new track, he has released two singles and an EP, garnering tens of thousands of fans online.

Curtis’ latest track, “Cold,” was written in 2020 and released as an acoustic. In 2021, he recorded the track in just two days on a live Twitch stream in front of 1,500 people. Co-written with Abigail Neilson, this track was a uniquely COVID-friendly piece of art, created entirely virtually. The song was the 30th track produced by Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park.

The song explores feelings of heartbreak and the coping process. “I believe there is something special about this song and hope anyone going through heartbreak knows they’re not alone!”, Curtis said.

Fans of Jason Mraz and Ed Sheeran should check out “Cold” by Steven Curtis.
