Stephanie Mathias has become a master at releasing music in the modern era. Her positive pop anthem “Blue Diamond Light” has been featured in a number of global playlists, highlighting the places where a good song and a good studio come together, courtesy of DMV producer Devin Spear from Exhale Recording Studios in the heart of Northern Virginia. Her track stands strong completely by itself, as the official acoustic track highlighted Mathias’ raw songwriting talent and performance as a pianist and vocalist. Now, she’s collaborated with artist and animator Harashita, whose Instagram inspirations at @paintingonscreen motivated Mathias to reach out about a lyric video for a track which she hopes will continue “current conversations promoting mental health awareness and using your inner light to overcome dark experiences,” says Mathias. “Blue Diamond Light” was written around the onset of depression and searching for peace when her inner and outer world seemed to be in turmoil. “I realized that I had God-given light inside of me that no circumstance could take away.”
