An emotional song about breaking away from a bad lifestyle and letting go of bad habits, “Done” is the fourth of 17 singles Dunamis has planned over the next year (we caught up with her for release number three, “Impress Me”); releasing a new song every last Friday of the month and hinting there may be occasional special drops in between.
“Done” is as much about developing a better lifestyle and committing to healthier habits as it is about separating one’s future and past selves.
I made my decision / I’m done with the things that I did / And the sins, and / I’m going on now
“If I want to break away from bad habits or free myself from a bad environment or an unhealthy relationship,” says Dunamis “I need a clear decision from myself to go through with it. Most of the time, you only have yourself to stay motivated and stick to the decision.”
I wanna be someone new / I’m starting today / You knew / The day would come / And now I say / That I’m done
This journey and this transformation is not only how Dunamis implements the goals she has for her own life, but the process she recommends for others, saying, “I hope my song helps one or the other to hold on to a good decision.”
Check out “Done” below, and stay tuned for more from talented Electro Pop artist Shoshan Dunamis in the months to come. Find this and more great music on the Alchemical Records Multigenre Mixture playlist on Spotify.

When D.C. venues were ready to reopen after COVID-19, indie pop duo GLOSSER was ready to perform. The two, Riley Fanning and Corbin Sheehan, formed the band pre-COVID out of a shared aesthetic vision and passion for music storytelling.
Their first album *DOWNER* was released in January 2023, however they have decided to release a [__deluxe version__](https://open.spotify.com/album/0KLORhtj3ohV4FtbdjoKu5?si=iNZX9fiZSm2M6V8pRdBkow) exactly one year later containing four new tracks – two remixes, a reimagined song, and a cover – that they are hoping will give it a second life and allow them to continue performing around the area.
The band explains that they have spent many shows opening for touring bands that traveled through D.C. “We made music and then venues started to open again,” Sheehan says. Rather than having the “typical grungy” D.C. band experience, they uniquely went straight to club shows.
