New England-based reggae rock band Roots of Creation release a collaborative new single with Bumpin Uglies of Annapolis, MD, “Castle.”

What some call success some call ‘luck.” In this moment, we are in luck to hear this collaboration between these two similarly inspired kindred spirits, and what is good luck for us should be successful for both Roots of Creation and Bumpin Uglies.
The consistent and mellow groove of the track provides the footing for the familiar upstrokes of the guitars one might expect of the genre as well as the elevated presence that only a brass section can provide. The vocal interplay between Roots of Creation vocalist Brett Wilson and Bumpin Uglies vocalist Brandon Hardesty is reverb filled, and perfectly complement one another.
Among other accolades, Roots of Creation have shared the stage at sold-out shows with some of their diverse influences including Slightly Stoopid, The Wailers (Bob Marley & The Wailers) and Michael Franti & Spearhead.
