OMB Peezy Shows the Trials of Being ‘MisGuided’

OMB Peezy’s highly-anticipated new 16-track mixtape, ‘MisGuided’ drops today.

Born in Mobile, Alabama and raised in Sacramento, California, LeParis Dade, professionally known as OMB Peezy has been musical his whole life. He released his debut track ‘Lay Down’ in 2016. In recent years, he has seen his musical career shoot forward through self-growth, being a father, and in-studio collaborations with elite producers and musicians.

One single from OMB Peezy’s album, ‘Real Sh*t’, is accompanied by hard hitting visuals that underscore the creativity of his songs.

‘MisGuided’ includes features from fellow heavy-weight artists, NLE

Choppa, Morray, and G Herbo. His story telling prowess is showcased alongside his musical talents.

“I came up with this title thinking about my childhood and the things I used to see as a kid. I

saw things dat I didn’t know were wrong until later on in life. Things that the older people

around me made seem cool or ‘The way of life’ as I always looked at it. That made me realize

that I’m not the only kid who went through this, it’s kids goin’ through this right now and

don’t even know. I just want to show them that they are being misguided before it’s too late,” said OMB Peezy.

THe beginning of the album seeks to, “magnify the lack of education OG’s passed down to the youth as Peezy takes complete charge to end the cycle speaking from a newly adapted perspective from being a father.” He creates a picture of the pain and struggle he’s faced leading to this point. But with the cinematic, triumphant close to the album, he proves that all trials eventually lead to triumphs.

Fans of NLE Choppa or Morray should check out this track. Find this and great music on the Alchemical Records Multigenre Mixture playlist on Spotify.
