NowhereJam, a pop punk band that covers impressive distance between Milan and Los Angeles, has released their new energetic single “Driving me crazy”. A perfect summer jam that brings all the goodness of power chord punk music to the forefront.
Driven primarily by a steady drumbeat, there is something intoxicating about the rhythm section as it plows forward like a tidal wave crashing on shores across the globe. As the chorus puts the titular mantra on repeat, it’s impossible not to get swept up by the carefree vibes that make you want to cut ties with all of life’s deadweight. “I’m spinning out of control / They won’t leave me alone” lead singer, Melissa Jane, wails through the chorus, “Everyone is driving me crazy”.
This song is a straightforward, no nonsense good time that sheds itself of any unnecessary excess. As the band has proven from their long-distance approach to collaboration, you don’t need much to make music that rocks from coast to coast. For fans of Van’s long running Warped Tour, this is an up-and-coming band that you won’t want to miss. Amidst the natural anger and angst of the music are good vibes that will stay with you all summer long.
Check out the music video that proves to be every bit as energetic as the track itself below. “Driving me crazy” is available on major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TIDAL, Deezer, and Qobuz.
