In the latest single by Lithuanian 16-year-old Pop artist Lucid Kidd, “Today and Tomorrow,” Kidd describes a fanciful kind of love that most people dream about.
To know that someone out there loves you is sometimes enough. However, having the one you love seeing that we are in some sort of danger and coming to our aid is often the kind of love we need. That is the love that is promised by Lucid Kidd in “Today and Tomorrow” as he promises to be a knight in shining armor; protecting hearts, breaking down walls, and giving everything of himself. In collaboration with Corey ‘Chorus’ Gibson (Rihanna, Keke Palmer, Estelle), Kyle Frankman (LouGotCash, Coi Leray), and Tyler Gabriele (LouGotCash, Kash Doll), Kidd sings about an idealistic nature surrounding the concepts of love, affection, and chivalry.
When you feel all alone / I’ll be there / Fighting all on your own / I’ll be your Knight in Shining Armor / Just like lighting striking / If you fall out of love / Then I’ll save you And If you build up a wall / Then I’ll breakthrough/ Knight in shining armor / Today and Tomorrow
In the music video directed by, Sebastien Ricci (Kyle Massey, Jeremy Green), Kidd is able to expound on this concept by seeking to empower his lover to leave her abusive and depressed father, removing his grip from her life allowing her to control her own fate. Filmed in Los Angeles as well as Joshua Tree National Park, the video leaves viewers with the impression that the two may indeed run away and start life anew together.

When D.C. venues were ready to reopen after COVID-19, indie pop duo GLOSSER was ready to perform. The two, Riley Fanning and Corbin Sheehan, formed the band pre-COVID out of a shared aesthetic vision and passion for music storytelling.
Their first album *DOWNER* was released in January 2023, however they have decided to release a [__deluxe version__](https://open.spotify.com/album/0KLORhtj3ohV4FtbdjoKu5?si=iNZX9fiZSm2M6V8pRdBkow) exactly one year later containing four new tracks – two remixes, a reimagined song, and a cover – that they are hoping will give it a second life and allow them to continue performing around the area.
The band explains that they have spent many shows opening for touring bands that traveled through D.C. “We made music and then venues started to open again,” Sheehan says. Rather than having the “typical grungy” D.C. band experience, they uniquely went straight to club shows.
