Late Postcard Has ‘No Time’ to Waste

By Jaci Jedrych

Late Postcard splashed into the DMV music scene with their debut single “No Time.” The danceable tune and smooth vocals make this song a sure-fire hit and a perfect end-of-summer tune.

The D.C.-based group is a four-piece. Three members attended the same college, two in a shared a cappella group, and the fourth is an old friend. All had music writing experience and decided to consolidate their projects into the group that would become Late Postcard. Their debut single, “No Time” was released on June 18.

“No Time” combines a lo-fi, indie pop tune with sweet, buttery vocals. The lead vocals have a warmth that invites the listener to stay entranced, and the lyrics are sincere, heartfelt, and honest.

Fans of indie pop bands like Beach Bunny or Dayglow would enjoy the honesty and enthusiasm that is evident in their music. Keep an eye out for where Late Postcard goes next.
