Kings Of The Wild Things Capture Great Vibes in “Polaroids”

by Daniel Warren Hill

Kings Of The Wild Things capture great vibes in their first single of 2021, “Polaroids”. This pop punk band originally called Fredericksburg, Virginia home, but have surely found a great creative support group in their newly adopted college town of Towson, MD. With Oscar, Peter, Wyatt, and King Tom, Kings of the Wild Things create an uplifting up-tempo track just in time for Spring that is perfect for making new memories to, meanwhile sharing lyrical snapshots of their own experiences. “Polaroids” references that tangible photograph you can hold in your hand while the moments themselves are seemingly fleeting. Having already released 2 EPs and 2 singles and opening shows for 3OH!3, Reel Big Fish, and Crobot, it’s easy to imagine Kings of The Wild Things finding their way to more great opportunities along their journey to release their forthcoming full length album to a passionate and energetic fanbase.
