JPEGMAFIA at Baltimore Soundstage

Go check out Brooklyn, New York native JPEGMAFIA this week when he comes to Baltimore Soundstage! This rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer has proven himself and the full extent of his various skills time and time again since his album “Veteran” dropped in 2018. It received widespread critical acclaim and was featured on many year-end lists, then was quickly followed by “All My Heroes Are Cornballs” which received even more acclaim and love from his fans. With influences ranging from Kanye West to Chief Keef, Ice Cube, Janelle Monáe, and The Backstreet Boys, it’s easy to see how versatile his sound is and why people love it so much. His debut studio album “Black Ben Carson” featured a harsh, distorted sound which carried on and twisted around to become something even more experimental and monumental with the release of “Veteran”. He has since released multiple singles, two EPs, and another album – all of which span various hip hop sub-genres such as experimental hip hop and industrial hip hop.
