Jarreau Williams Is Still Thinking About ‘That Summer’

Alchemical Records sweetheart Jarreau Williams is back again- this time with the Masbeatz remix of his beloved 2019 single “That Summer.” Known for remixing his originals, this is Williams’ second release of 2021.

Alexandria, Va.-native Williams is known around the DMV as “the man with the golden pipes,” for his powerhouse vocals. He draws inspiration from all music: from 70s funk, to 80s soul, to 90s new jack swing, to 00s hip-hop and R&B. His lyricism is aimed to inspire and uplift, imbuing his listeners with a sense of joy.

“Expect high-energy, funk, and a unique brand of soulful humor at any of his performances,” he says.

“That Summer (Masbeatz Remix)” balances music with remix. His delicate use of electronic elements enhances the melody and lyrics, rather than detracting or distracting– a very difficult balance to achieve.

Fans of Charlie Puth or ZAYN should check out Jarreau Williams for his powerful voice and zingy remixes.
