Go check out singer-songwriter H.E.R. this week at The Anthem! Her debut EP “H.E.R. Volume 1” was released under RCA, followed by four more EPs. From those, she created a compilation album “H.E.R.” which was made up of her first two EPs plus six additional songs. This compilation, released in 2017, was nominated for five Grammy Awards, and won Best R&B Performance as well as Best R&B Album. These initial awards were quickly followed by even more Grammy nominations, Grammy Awards, Academy Awards, and BET Awards. Her typical R&B ballads are described as “downcast post-breakup material that sound vulnerable and assured at once.” Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see H.E.R. in person!
