The grandparents who step in and raise their grandkids, the stepparents who step up and do an amazing job of parenting, the folks who support individuals with addictions and mental illness, the people who work tirelessly to change policies to improve the lives of others, and those who share what little food they have with their community and rescue and foster animals.

Most of us are strangers, and we do not know what anyone else is really going through. There are people with extraordinary hearts all around us, and we should recognize and be thankful for them.
