Go ‘All The Way’ with Edward the First

By Linc Bradham

Edward the First describes himself as “the royal love child of Marie Antoinette and George Michael.” And here he is: standing on the storied shoulders of Michael and Marie, with a gaze ready to pierce your soul and travel with you through the entirety of The Renaissance.

Take Edward’s hand, and you’ll find yourself in a world of dreamy pads, 808 drums, Roland Juno-6 twinkles, and harmonies that could pull the corners of even George Michael’s lips into a smile.

With his newest single, Edward the First is pulling out all of the stops to go “All The Way.” An interesting blend of Erasure’s soundscapes and Bo Burnham’s penchant for witty lyricism, “All The Way” is an uplifting, optimistic soundtrack to a beautiful tale of redemption and self-actualization.

Edward the First has a bright future, here’s to hoping that he continues to create this honest music that harkens to the 80’s and allows for humor and excitement to permeate the experience – maybe there will even be live shows in the future? No matter what happens, go “All The Way” with Edward the First here, and experience his “renaissancing” sound for yourself.
