Go check out DC9’s amazing lineup this week: Flowerbomb, Brave, and Jasmine Gillison will all be taking the stage!
DC-based alternative rock band Flowerbomb was formed by Rachel Kline in 2015. This group masterfully combines saturated guitars, ornate rhythms, intricate songrwriting, and delicately raw lyrics to create a soundscape of nostalgia.
Our second band, DC-based progressive rock band Brave, utilizes a unique fusion of disparate styles. They have no specific genre they call home, but rather wander wherever the wind takes them, venturing into musical compositions and themes without boundaries.
Finally, we get to the beautiful Jasmine Gillison who has been mesmerizing audiences with her beautifully earnest lyrics and intimate songs for over 10 years in the DC area and beyond. She works at a loom of loving storytelling, weaving intricate fingerpicking style and arresting vocals together to create a wonderful musical journey. When joined by her full band, the end result is a dynamic sonic landscape that perfectly complements the ups, downs, and in-betweens that first inspired her songs.
Please Note! DC9 will require proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 OR a negative Covid test taken within 48 hours of the event. Acceptable proof can be physical or digital copy, and must match the name on the photo ID shown at the door.
