L.A.-based singer-songwriter Eris Justin is knocking on the door of your heart in his latest single, “withyou”.
Originally from the Philippines, Justin began writing and producing for a major label after amassing over 50,000 subscribers on Youtube and over a million streams on Spotify. His music has been featured on television (NET25) and radio (Wave 89.1; Halo Halo 105.1 Cebu) and critics and fans alike have been attracted to his Indie Alternative sound with expressive Soul-inspired vocals steeped with Pop energy.
“Withyou” is a sweetly sung love song expressing sensuality through lyrics describing tactile experiences with the one you love such as running your fingers through their hair and them wrapping their legs around you. The song is centered around Eris Justin’s declaration, “When I met you, I found myself.” These elements of touch suggest there may be some sadness found in “withyou” later in the track with the line, “When I let go.”
Eris Justin’s diverse influences including artists ranging from Michael Jackson to blackbear and Red Hot Chili Peppers contribute heavily toward his experimental sounds that always seem to find their footing. With EPs Tatlong Rosas (2019) and lost in love (2021), Justin has proven that there is substantial room for him to explore creatively while inviting listeners to witness his fusion sounds uncommon in the traditional pop music space.
