Eli Waltz is an Americana folk singer, songwriter, and bandleader. After living and performing in Beijing for a while, he now lives and is based in Washington, D.C. His group performs regularly in the DMV, with upcoming tours across the country. Waltz’s folk fingerpicking style, combined with his strong songwriting and dynamic vocals make for an enlightening listening experience, as well as his signature harmonica solos. Waltz also runs, hosts, and performs at several musical series in D.C. which feature local songwriters, usually in the folk, blues, and country genres. Website: https://www.eliwaltz.com/
Christopher Colletta is determined to bring traditional country and Americana to the Nation’s Capital. He has lived in Nashville, Austin, Paris (where he performed at the U.S. embassy), and now D.C. His music is unlike anything on the radio, as he is influenced by country legends old and new like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Charley Crockett, and Justin Townes Earle. He has recorded both solo and with other musicians, and is currently writing more original music to add to his plethora of covers. “In addition to performing, he plans to record an EP of original music, much of which is inspired by the years he spent as an officer in the U.S. Army before moving to Paris.” Link Tree: https://linktr.ee/cccollettamusic
Sam C. Jones’s timeless music could be described as “country-rock fusion,” “60’s era vocals,” or “moonshine rock”. Jones was born and raised in Virginia and is now “a genre-bending songwriter known for his vulnerable lyrics, big guitars, and haunting, heartfelt melodies.” He also contains a love for the classic, alt-country and Americana genres, which can be heard in his music that he often uses as a political/emotional tool.
