Netherland-based duo Dizzy Panda has released their new music video for their single “Feeling Grey.” This is the debut single from their sophomore album release, “Panda Points.”
Dizzy Panda is a collaboration project of two friends who wear panda masks. Their first album, “Panda Points” available March 22nd. While they do not stick to producing one single genre of music, they are mainly inspired by triphop, pop, elektropop, EDM, downtempo and even some elements of rock. The album closes with a (latin) jazzy instrumental, which is a reference to their next album; in addition to the album, there will also be a music video available for each track on the album.
The song itself clearly embodies the musical influences that inspire Dizzy Panda, specifically elektropop and rock. The bass is heavily emphasized throughout the verses, making the dark nature of the song more explicit. The soft vocals also contribute to this feeling, making the overall experience of listening to the song a cinematic one.
The song also introduces audiences to the duo’s newer sound; their first album “Raw Dummy” consisted of more Lo-Fi, Lounge music that did not incorporate as much
