Deborah Bond at The Camel

Go check out DC-based, multi-talented performer Debórah Bond at The Camel this week! There’s truly nothing this amazing woman hasn’t done: she’s a singer, songwriter, performer, voiceover artist, show host, educator, mentor, and DC Grammy Chapter Governor. As if that list wasn’t enough, her music is simply divine. She grew up absorbing the golden age sounds of the 70’s and 80’s soul music that bellowed through her childhood home in New Haven, CT. With inspiration from Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, and Stevie Wonder, it’s no wonder that her multiple studio albums are so highly acclaimed and draw such eager audiences. She has spent the last 6 years touring and recording with legendary UK soul/R&B band Incognito. All of this leads up to her most recent album, “compass: I”, which debuted on March 5th, 2021.
