Deadrick is Ready to “Move” Slowly and Sensually

North Carolina-based rapper and producer, Deadrick, is prepares for the release of his upcoming album Move with the title track as the leading single. Full of sensuality and a cool, driving backbeat, it sets a more romantic mood that harkens to some R&B roots with the rhythmic flavor of hip hop.

Deadrick writes that, “[‘Move’] is a song that gives that early morning feeling to get up and just move around and feel yourself and do things that make the rest of your day euphoric… almost like that feeling you get after you had a successful workout or you successfully wooed your romantic partner from the nighttime to the morning.”

Perhaps it’s the slight glitch on the end of each soft touch of the piano against Deadrick’s silky vocals, but the allure of this song feels intoxicating. Sex sells well in this sparse composition that leaves plenty of space to build and suspend one’s anticipation.

“In my case ‘Move’ is about me and my romantic partner and how that experience made me feel and how great it was to share that feeling with that individual. it made me feel like my dopamine levels spiked through the roof! And made the rest of my day. I hope others felt that as well and I hope this song gives you that feeling.”

“Move” is available now on major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Pandora, Deezer, TIDLA, Boomplay, and Anghami.
