DC Band Columbia Breakers Comes Out With New Track, “Long Way Home”

by The Alchemist

Columbia Breakers is an independent band from Washington D.C. They primarily associate with punk, Americana, and folk styles. They’ve had many popular releases lately, such as: “Brother, You Are”, “Mama, Hold My Hand, And “’97 Love”.

Their most recent track is called, “Long Way Home”, and we love what we are hearing. The song starts with a very relaxing intro, but eventually evolves into almost a beach-esque vibe. We love the vibe of this song, and think it’s a great song for anyone having a rough day so far. Check out the track below.

Join Alchemical Records as they connect with Witch Weather to discuss the band’s new self-titled album, their search for a sense of belonging as members of the queer community, the important element that keeps the duo’s creative bond strong, and the influence of the DMV on their sound.
