Cinema Hearts (DC)
http://cinemahearts.com
An ex-pageant queen who makes power pop? Cue Cinema Hearts, the indie rock musical
project of Washington, D.C.’s Caroline Weinroth. Cinema Hearts’ Your Ideal EP, produced by
Bartees Strange, chronicles the experience of competing in the world of Miss America pageants.
A former Miss Virginia contender, Weinroth crafts songs about the loneliness, frustration, and
cut-throat drive it took to win, and then lose, on the glitzy pageant stage.

Well Wisher (New Jersey)
https://www.wellwishernj.com
Well Wisher is an indie pop, punk band from Asbury Park, New Jersey. Their latest album, That
Weight, is a cathartic burst of catchy, feverish punk rock that addresses the heaviness of
personal trauma without being suffocated by its gravity.

Big Cry Country (DC)

Big Cry Country make energetic rock for the kind of people who think a cathartic cry can be
improved by dancing.
