Sequels are all the rage! Chaise Lounge releases their second Christmas album Out Under the Sky just in time for Christmas 2020. This latest offering by Washington D.C. area jazz, lounge, swing, pop band featuring big band music by Charlie Barnett, Tommy Barrick, Jeff Gray, Pete Ostle, and vocalist Marilyn Older, was recorded early in 2020 before the pandemic hit and was completed through remote recording efforts of the band members from their homes. Out Under the Sky consists of a number of original soon-to-be holiday classics such as “Who Doesn’t Like Christmas,” as well as some traditional seasonal covers including “Silver Bells” and “Let It Snow.” With such a groovy holiday soundtrack, we will be writing Santa and asking he put a trilogy under our tree!
