Dylan Dunlap Took Himself Too “Seriously”

Dylan Dunlap is an internationally recognized singer/songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. His love for music evolved at a very young age, performing on the streets of his hometown, Los Angeles. Since then, he has honed his own sound, bridging the gap between pop and indie rock. His powerful live show has been taken on the road, touring extensively through North America and Europe, including opening for Howie Day, Juice, and OneRepublic.

Coopertheband Feels “Stuck”

Coopertheband is a  bramily (band/friends/family) composed of six massive music nerds with minds to rhyme and twelve hot feet. Centered in Jackson, TN, the band has found success nationally, featured on networks like HBO, ESPN, and TruTV as well as the hit show “Without a Trace.”  Coopertheband is also hugely plugged into the local music scene and often finds itself on podcasts, regional television shows, and the occasional old-fashioned newspaper article. To date, Coopertheband has released three albums – Venture (2010), Kings EP (2012), and most recently, Kingdoms (2017) – now available everywhere.

Joseph Nevels Comes Out With New Track, “Safe”

With law school books full of song lyrics, it was evident at graduation that Joseph Nevels (fka JSPH) always had an affinity for music. He is an amazing upcoming artist that is currently based in the LA area.

When Pharrell co-signed his first single it only propelled him to continue making rhythm soaked tracks. NPR Music quickly showed support and said he, “fits seamlessly into the world of D’ Angelo, Frank Ocean, and James Blake.”

Dope Lemon Drops, “Every Day is a Holiday”

Dope Lemon is an artist from Australia that combines sounds from 90’s rock, and folk with other elements of indie rock to create an extremely unique style of music. His full name is Angus Stone, known internationally as half of the sibling indie pop duo from Angus and Julia Stone.

Dope Lemon’s Smooth Big Cat Album was a real introduction to the talented artist with notable praise and placements on coveted playlists including Spotify’s New Music Friday. The album is a true reflection of Angus. It’s Dope Lemon squeezed to pure juice, distilled to a nectar fit for the gods, sweet on everyone’s lips. It was recorded over three months at Belafonte, the studio on Angus’ ranch. It’s been three years since his last EP, Hounds Tooth, and a full four years since Honey Bones, Angus’ instant-classic debut, which amassed over 100 million streams. 

Dope Lemon’s newest track is called, “Every Day is a Holiday” and it features Winston Surfshirt. The song is very relaxing, and makes the listener feel as if they are on a beach. This is a great song to listen too with all of the various stressful things going on in the world. Check it out below.

Rich Caviar Drops, “Shyamalan”

Rich Caviar is an artist that was born in Moscow, Russa, but raised in the USA. He is a multi-talented artist and has been steadily growing his music fan base by performing with the likes artists such as J Cole, Big Sean, Mac Miller, Fabolous, and MGK. He was recently featured on both Starz Hit TV show “Power”, and in the movie “Glass” directed by the legendary “M Night Shyamalan.”

His newest track is called, “Shyamalan” and Rich Caviar also produced it himself. It has an inspiring horn sample that really brings a feeling of ambition to the entire song. He combines an compelling form of lyricism and hard hitting drums and 808’s to make a very catchy track. Check out the track below.

Lund Drops, “Broken” featuring Lil Skies and Noah Cyrus

Lund is an artist who grew up about 65 miles away from Los Angeles in Moreno Valley. He developed developed a heightened musical perspective as a little kid. Born to high school-age parents, he lived with his paternal grandparents as mom struggled with drugs and dad faced severe mental health issues. Lund’s grandfather taught him how to play guitar at just six-years-old. At the same time, he listened to everything from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, and Coldplay to N.W.A. and Gravediggaz. He played trumpet throughout middle school and even participated in marching band and orchestra. Discovery of Ableton broadened his sonic horizons further. By eleventh grade, he found himself cooking up his own productions and laying down vocals. Working out of his home studio, he architected everything from scratch, crafting the production, instrumentation, and singing.

Kenny Golder Jr. Drops, “No Pity”

Kenny Golder Jr. is a new artist born in Baltimore, MD that is currently attending Arizona State. He just recently dropped his newest project, “Sophomore Slump” which features 3rdOcean, Yuhng Haze, Z. Lew, and Jugg Team Kari. The album features 12 extremely catchy tracks but our favorite is called “No Pity.”

This song has some incredible production that resembles that of some of Kendrick Lamar’s or School Boy Q’s tracks. The song itself is talking about the progression from basement rapping to selling out shows; the progression that almost every rapper with a dream must go through. When the hook comes, it immediately makes you want to jump, and if this song is played at a house party, I guarantee it’ll get the party jumping.

Layke Drops New Track!

Layke is an amazing artist that has a ton of potential in today’s world. Her newest song is called “Bad Things”

When asking her about her newest song she says, “Bad Things speaks to my bisexuality on two different points. On one hand the bisexual community is not often taken seriously by the LGBTQ+ community. Often as someone who is bi you’re constantly feeling like you have to answer to someone or prove something and that’s just not all right. Conversely the straight community never makes you feel like you really belong either. So feel like you don’t belong anywhere. And that’s what this song is addressing.

However, with everything that is going on I definitely feel like this song could be a lot of different things to a lot of different people. It has a wide umbrella that is cast with the.”

Gianna Isabella Drops, “Feel The Same”

nxtime Drops, “Future Love”

nxtime is a band based out of New York City. Comprised of Ray Rubio, a singer/songwriter, and producer from Harlem who previously played in the indie band All Types of Kinds, and Nate Thompson, a guitarist/producer from Northern Colorado who played in several projects in his local music scene while studying at CU Boulder. The two are backed by Imhotep Williams, a drummer from the Bronx, and a rotating lineup of other local musicians.
