Cassie Chantel is a Female Hip-Hop/Rap artist based in Atlanta, GA. Raised out of Athens, GA Cassie has been putting alot of footwork & motion in the streets of Atlanta & Athens for a while now. While winning Best Female Award in Athens year 2013 & 2016 and also Best Collaboration in Athens with song titled “Chances”. Cassie is also CEO of “Trib3HouseRecords” an upcoming collective of Engineers, Producers, & Songwriters taking over the independent scene of Atlanta.
Cassie Chantel recently put out a video titled, “Ms. America.” In this video Cassie Chantel speaks her mind and brings up some amazing lyrics personifying America as a woman, as she speaks to “Ms. America” throughout the entire song. She questions the way American standards are, and brings to light just how important fighting racial injustice is for our country right now. There are some clips of recent police injustices as the song continues into the chorus ringing, “I tried to make you love me, but you hate me.” This makes the listener think of the problems of the current state of our system in the United States. America needs change, and Cassie Chantel is working to help make this happen. Check out the video amazing below.

The sound of Violet Silhouette is unlike anything else you’re likely to hear. Their music blends rock and electronic with dance—with a great deal of mystery tossed in for good measure. But however it’s classified, their sound is rather unique.
Singer/guitarist/drummer Zaii Valdes is joined in the group by Dan Potvin and Justin Gianoutsos. The group’s latest EP, “FEVERBLUE,” drops October 20. In anticipation of the latest release, Valdes spoke with Alchemical Records about the new record and, in honor of his Cuban extraction, Hispanic Heritage Month—which kicks off September 15.
How did you first get involved in music?
Being of Cuban heritage, music and dance were very much a part of [my] cultural and familial experience. Not to mention, there was a spiritual aspect to it—trance states and such that could be achieved from rhythm and beat.
