Caitlin Min Fa Lets You Know It’s Okay to Fall Apart

By Jaci Jedrych

If you’ve been stuck in a rut and are looking for some inspiration, check out Caitlin Min Fa’s newest single, “I Need U.”

Drawing inspiration from pop, ballad, and gospel, Melbourne, Australia-based singer-songwriter Caitlin Min Fa aims to uplift others with her songs. Caitlin’s songs reflect this goal, with their frank and honest lyrics, which are coupled with pop style melodies.

Throughout “I Need U,” Caitlin sings to a special someone who sees the best in her despite the fact she feels like she’s falling apart. Thematically, “I Need U” is a fitting follow-up to Caitlin’s recent single “Work In Progress.”

Last year, Caitlin’s debut single was streamed more than 10K times. Thus far in her relatively new career, she has reached no. 6 and no. 9 on the Triple J Unearthed Pop Charts and received airplay on multiple radio stations and TV shows, and Caitlin shows no signs of slowing down.

With its bold energy, bouncing melody, and Caitlin’s soaring vocals, “I Need You,” produced by local Melbourne talent Rob Amoruso, encourages listeners to appreciate the things they may otherwise take for granted, including people who see the best in you no matter what. Lyrics including “I just keep on falling apart/You just keep on pulling me out, saving my heart” carry a refreshing confessional quality that’s sure to resonate widely with audiences.

Fans of Tori Kelly and Francesca Battistelli should check out Caitlin Min Fa’s music. It offers a soothing message that touches the hearts of those in need, spreading much-needed feelings of joy as the world begins to emerge from a difficult season.
