This weekend, DMV-based group Blue Cadet is inviting everyone to attend their very own Blue Fest 2! When the Blue Cadet bandmates first created their music festival, they knew they wanted it to be something truly extraordinary. The first year was a wonderous mix of music and visual arts which offered attendees an unforgettable multi-sensory experience. This year’s festival promises to be even better, with nine of your favorite local DMV musicians from various genres taking to the stage. Each artist brings their own sound, style, power, lyrical prowess, and unbridled energy to the event, ensuring everyone in the crowd – no matter their taste in music – will have an unforgettable night. And, as if the lure of amazing music wasn’t enough, the Blue Cadet bandmates are offering funds from Blue Fest to India’s Covid-19 relief response in an effort to help global communities combat the disease. Now that is truly extraordinary.
