Alchemical Records wouldn’t be where it is today if it weren’t for great support from the local community. On Saturday, October 24th, We hosted our third Annual Music Industry Seminar in partnership with Calvert Library in an effort to give back to our community and to highlight the local library system as one of the most vital resources for creative individuals looking to further their careers. This year’s event was A Focus on Recording, and presentations were given by our own Daniel Warren Hill, Darren Guzzone (Not Pictured) of Belly Acres Studio, David Mallen of Innovation Station Music, Mark Reed of Sovereign Records, and Devin Owens of Garrett Music Academy. Topics covered included: The History of Recorded Music, Studio Construction and Business Practices, Recording Processes and Pre-Recording Planning, Budgeting For Your Studio, and Tips and Tricks & Common Misconceptions.
