The Mitchell Norton Band recently rebranded as 5th of Four with the addition of frontwoman Faith Hayden from the popular cover band LUSH. This DC area post-hardcore band with members ranging in age, gender, race, and identity, writes and performs catchy, radio-friendly rock songs with a heavier edge. 5th of Four is performing their first headlining show at The Pocket in Washington DC while celebrating the release of their first EP together, released in late November of 2023.
Barry & the Combustibles made up of seasoned musicians with a wide variety of musical tastes and fronted by singer-songwriter Barry Fantle will also take the stage. As well as Social Musica, a rock band based in Washington, DC with members Adam Forbes on guitar/vocals, Dan Wolfe on bass/vocals and Joey Jenkins on drums/vocals. Formed in 2017, Social Musica has been on a hiatus for a few years, but was brought together again in 2022 to continue writing and performing their arsenal of epic original tunes.
Located on the second floor of 7DrumCity, the Pocket is a small, intimate venue with a capacity of 70 people. Featuring excellent acoustics, a full lighting rig with impressive effects, and a small bar serving local beer, cocktails, and wine, both fans and bands are sure to appreciate the unique atmosphere of The Pocket.
Tickets are $15 at the door or can be purchased online for $12.
Daniel Warren Hill is an American musician, writer, and motivational speaker. He is best known as the frontman for Washington DC area Alternative Rock band YellowTieGuy, as co-founder of Capitol Groove Collective, and increasing the exposure of artists on a global scale through his work with Alchemical Records.
