The Members of Wallows Believe “Nobody Gets Me (Like You)”

Wallows is a band made up three memebers, Braeden Lemasters (guitar and vocals), Cole Preston (guitar and drums), Dylan Minnette (guitar and vocals), and formerly Zack Mendenhall (bass guitar). They first started playing music together as children under the name, “Join The Band”. They started releasing music as The Wallows in 2017, and have gained a ton of attention in the music communities with their recent releases.

Following the success of their debut album, Nothing Happens, and summer smash “Are You Bored Yet? (feat. Clairo)”, Wallows announce their new quarantine-made EP titled Remote (out October 23), as well as release the first EP single “Nobody Gets Me (Like You)” with an accompanying music video. All songs on Remote were produced by Sachi DiSerafino, John DeBold, and Wallows, except for “Nobody Gets Me (Like You)” which was produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Adele).

Drea Went on an Introspective Journey To Write “Circumstances”

On September 18, 2020, New York based R&B singer songwriter, Drea, released ”Circumstances,” her second single from her upcoming EP, Ocean Avenue.

The song features some unforgettable piano chords and an upright bass to create an ominous feel throughout the entire song. Drea’s vocals have a darker feel to them, but they also have an upbringing feel that inspires the listener.

When asking about the song she says the following:

“Circumstances” is an introspective journey about being comfortable with your great moments, and your ugly moments. People are taught to shy away from the evil within and focus only on the good, however both good and evil are equally responsible for shaping us.”
